    Die st\u00e4dtebauliche Voruntersuchung f\u00fcr den Hochschulcampus sieht mehrere T\u00fcrme vor, die das Gel\u00e4nde der HAW flankieren.. Das Konzept greift diese Idee auf und st\u00e4rkt die Pr\u00e4senz der T\u00fcrme mit seiner markanten L-Form. Der niedrigere Geb\u00e4udeteil orientiert sich zum Campus. Zur St\u00e4rkung des kompakten Bauk\u00f6rpers und zur klaren Lesbarkeit der L-Form erhalten Turm und Sockelbau eine einheitliche Fassadengestaltung.<\/p>

    Das Geb\u00e4ude vereint unterschiedliche Nutzungen: Bibliothek, Studierendenzentrum, Restaurant und B\u00fcros. Gleichzeitig erm\u00f6glicht die Grundrissgestaltung in allen Geschossen eine einheitliche Deckenspannweite von 5,85 m. Als horizontale Tragelemente kommen massive Brettsperrholzdecken zum Einsatz, die ohne zus\u00e4tzliche konstruktive Ma\u00dfnahmen alle Anforderungen an den Brand- und Schallschutz erf\u00fcllen. Zur Gew\u00e4hrleistung einer hohen Flexibilit\u00e4t der Raumgestaltung sind deckengleiche Unterz\u00fcge vorgesehen. Das Klimakonzept kombiniert robuste Low-Tech-Strategien mit gezielt eingesetzter Technik. Dank des Innenhofs im niedrigeren Geb\u00e4udeteil werden alle Aufenthaltsr\u00e4ume nat\u00fcrlich bel\u00fcftet und belichtet. Die passive K\u00fchlung durch Nachtl\u00fcftung wird von der freiliegenden thermischen Masse aus Lehm- und Steinb\u00f6den unterst\u00fctzt. Nicht nur die Decken, sondern auch St\u00fctzen und Fassaden bestehen \u00fcberwiegend aus wiederverwendbaren Holzelementen.<\/p>
