Ihre organisch geschwungene Grundform entwickelt sich aus den umliegenden Wegebeziehungen, die den Platz umrunden und diagonal durchqueren. Die beiden muschelf\u00f6rmigen Schalen, unter denen sich Gastraum und K\u00fcche befinden, sind begehbar gestaltet: Ihre flach ansteigende Form l\u00e4dt zum Besteigen ein und erweitert die Platzfl\u00e4che um eine nutzbare Landschaftsebene.<\/p>\n<p>Der zentrale Gastraum dient als multifunktionaler Begegnungsort: W\u00e4hrend der Mittagszeit als Mensa genutzt, steht er au\u00dferhalb dieser Zeiten f\u00fcr den Austausch, selbstorganisiertes Lernen und schulische Veranstaltungen offen. Unterschiedliche Raumh\u00f6hen zwischen 3,5 und 8 Metern unter der flie\u00dfenden Deckenform, der eingeschnittene Tiefhof sowie fest integrierte Sitzlandschaften gliedern den Raum subtil, ohne ihn zu zerteilen.<\/p>\n<p>Materialit\u00e4t und k\u00fcnstlerische Gestaltung unterstreichen die besondere Raumatmosph\u00e4re: Der Bodenbelag aus markantem Eichen-Hirnholzparkett verleiht dem Raum eine robuste, sinnliche Qualit\u00e4t. Entlang der umlaufenden, 80 Meter langen Wand sind menschengro\u00dfe Figuren in Sgraffito-Technik aufgebracht, die dem Raum eine narrative Dimension geben. Die mehrfach gekr\u00fcmmte Stahlbetonschale wurde mit einem akustisch wirksamen Putzsystem mit Mineralwolle versehen.
